This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Little Guardian.

Information Stored by Little Guardian

Little Guardian stores information required for the app to remember your experience and progress.

This may include:

• Your chosen Guardian

• Guardian progression and evolution

• Days spent with your Guardian

• App preferences

• Unlocked features

• Activity progress

• Garden and collectable progress

• Story and reading progress

• Check-in selections

• Other choices and progress made within the app

This information is used to allow Little Guardian to remember your progress and personalise your experience between sessions.

Little Guardian does not use your wellbeing check-ins to create a medical record or provide a medical diagnosis.

Location Information

Little Guardian includes an Adventure Map feature.

If you choose to use the Adventure Map, Little Guardian may request permission to access your device's location.

Location is used to provide location-based Adventure Map functionality, including identifying relevant nearby areas and Guardian encounters.

Your location is not displayed to other Little Guardian users through the Visit Friend feature.

You can disable location access at any time through your device settings. Some Adventure Map functionality may not work when location permission is disabled.

Guardian Visits

Little Guardian includes a Visit Friend feature that allows two Guardians on different devices to spend time together and interact.

The Visit Friend feature uses Unity Gaming Services, including Unity Authentication, Unity Multiplayer services and Unity Relay, to establish and maintain the connection between participating devices.

When Visit Friend is used:

• The app signs the device into Unity Gaming Services using anonymous authentication.

• A private multiplayer session is created or joined.

• A temporary private join code is used to connect the two participating devices.

• Network information required to synchronise the Guardians and their in-app interactions is transmitted through Unity's networking services.

• Visits are limited to two participants.

• The host must approve the other participant before the visit begins.

The app does not intentionally display or share your physical Adventure Map location with another user through Guardian Visits.

Visit codes, Unity Player IDs and session IDs are not intentionally written to the app's diagnostic log by Little Guardian's Visit Friend system.

Third-Party Services

Little Guardian is developed using the Unity game engine.

The Visit Friend feature uses Unity Gaming Services, including:

• Unity Authentication — to anonymously authenticate a device for multiplayer functionality.

• Unity Multiplayer Services — to create and manage private Guardian Visit sessions.

• Unity Relay — to enable the network connection between participating devices without requiring users to directly expose their device's network address.

Unity may process technical and networking information necessary to provide these services in accordance with Unity's own privacy practices.

Little Guardian does not currently intentionally integrate third-party advertising or behavioural advertising tracking.

Development tools such as Git/GitHub and Codemagic may be used by Tired Mama Games to manage source code and create application builds. These tools are not part of the normal in-app user experience.

Little Guardian is distributed through platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may independently process information associated with downloads, purchases, devices and store usage according to their own privacy policies.

Wellbeing Check-ins

Little Guardian allows you to select how you are feeling and take part in wellbeing and relaxation activities.

These selections are used to personalise your experience within Little Guardian and help present relevant Guardian content or activities.

Little Guardian is not a medical service.

Wellbeing selections are not intended to create a medical record, diagnose a condition or provide medical treatment.

Device Permissions

Depending on the features you choose to use, Little Guardian may request device permissions including:

• Location — for Adventure Map functionality

• Notifications — where notification features are enabled

Little Guardian only requests permissions required for features that use them.

You can review or change these permissions at any time through your device settings.

Advertising and Tracking

Little Guardian does not currently contain third-party advertising.

Tired Mama Games does not use Little Guardian for behavioural advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.

Data Sharing

Tired Mama Games does not sell users' personal information.

When you choose to use Visit Friend, technical information necessary to create and operate the multiplayer connection is processed through Unity Gaming Services.

Your Adventure Map location is not intentionally shared with another Little Guardian user through Guardian Visits.

Information exchanged during a visit is limited to information required to establish the session and synchronise the participating Guardians and their in-app interactions.

Data Retention

Gameplay and preference information stored locally by Little Guardian may remain on your device while the app is installed.

Deleting Little Guardian or clearing its application data may remove locally stored progress.

Technical information processed by Unity Gaming Services when using Visit Friend may be retained by Unity according to Unity's applicable privacy and data-retention practices.

Information processed independently by Apple or Google may similarly be retained according to those companies' own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Little Guardian is designed as a general wellbeing and entertainment app.

Users should not provide unnecessary personal or sensitive information when contacting Tired Mama Games for support.

If Tired Mama Games becomes aware that personal information has been provided inappropriately through support communications, reasonable steps will be taken to remove it where appropriate.

Support Communications

If you contact Tired Mama Games for support, feedback or to report a bug, you may choose to provide information such as:

• Your email address

• Device model

• Operating system

• App version

• Screenshots

• A description of the issue

This information is used only as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry or investigate the reported problem.

Please do not include unnecessary sensitive or personal information in support requests.

Your Choices

You can:

• Disable location permission through your device settings

• Disable notifications through your device settings

• Choose not to use location-based features

• Choose not to use Guardian Visits

• Remove Little Guardian from your device

• Contact Tired Mama Games with questions about privacy or data handling

Security

Tired Mama Games takes reasonable steps to design Little Guardian in a way that limits unnecessary collection and sharing of personal information.

However, no electronic system, device or method of electronic communication can guarantee absolute security.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Little Guardian changes, new features are introduced or privacy requirements change.
